About 4 months ago my MASTER brought me to a piercer’s and about an hour or so later I walked out with a PA, the first and only piercing. The PA was something I had thought about for a long time, even before I met SIR, and always wanted done with that special someone who owned me. Till I met MASTER, getting a PA always seemed like a “crazy thing” that remains a fantasy given my conservative nature and environment. MASTER and I talked at length about this, I did a lot of research online, and talked with many friends but found that the information available was a bit lacking so I’m posting a somewhat long recount of my experience here for my fellow pups to consider and comment on. Naturally, these are my experiences, my own opinions based on my body, and what follows does not apply to everyone. Also this post may be a bit graphic for people though I am attempting to be empirical.
I am an average sized pup when hard, and don’t show much when soft. I am uncut and wear a high-polish, 6 gauge titanium ring which has a ball on one end, a pointier end on the other with a small gap between the two in what otherwise would be a complete circle. The inner diameter is about ¾”. My ring moves as I move, reminding me of its presence intermittently throughout the day, as if someone were quickly tonguing the tip of my cock every now and then. The sensation of a PA when playing is really quite incredible, and certainly adds as much stimulation for me as it does for my MASTER.
My piercers were LeRoi (
www.leroi.com/Leroi/index.tpl) in NYC, recommended to me by The Leatherman, NYC’s foremost leather fetish store. I’m not associated with LeRoi or The Leatherman. I went to LeRoi twice before getting the PA – first to see the place and the second to bring my MASTER and really talk to the people. The store is clean, comfortable and is more like a jewelry store than a seedy tattoo parlor. The store has a waiting area up front, cases of jewelry along one side, and private rooms for piercing on the other. We were happy with their sterilization methods (everything autoclaved), and the cleanliness of the place in general. The people were friendly, approachable, eager to answer questions and really put me at ease.
Eventually, MASTER made an appointment, and brought me there after a light brunch. Jewelry was selected and my piercer, Pete, brought everything needed to the autoclave and closed the shop to give us some added privacy. I dropped trou, sat in what looked like a dentist’s chair that had some paper towel on it in case there was blood and was wiped down with alcohol. Pete used a marker and marked where the piercing would be done (slightly to the right of the divide, since I am uncut), and made sure I was satisfied with a mirror. In NY, piercings are done without anesthetic (something about it constituting the practice of medicine) so we went directly on to the procedure. MASTER was with me the whole time, encouraging, checking on me, and holding my paw.
There comes a time in the procedure where you suddenly realize that THIS is the point of no return, that this moment is where you can still chicken out. With getting a PA that time is after the piercer has inserted a hollow metal tube down yer cock, and is about to stab through with the needle. MASTER had sounded me before, so the hollow tube being inserted didn’t really bring on the feeling on being on the brink. The tube is there so that the needle will not pierce through the other side of the urethra, and doesn’t go too far in and there isn’t much discomfort. By this time the sense of fear / anxiety / anticipation had gotten to me and once the tube was inserted and the Pete had unwrapped the needle from the sterilization packet, I realized that this was really the point of no return… if said no I would walk out unscathed, but if I said yes, my life would be changed forever. My MASTER asked me whether I was sure, and I nodded, and Pete did his work and I started howling.
Things I learned from this process: Don’t expect to be able to walk easily or drive on the way home. The experience is emotional, physically draining and puts you in a cloudy endorphin haze for some time. Black underwear, and dark pants are a good idea cause if you bleed like me, by the time you get home you’ll have bled through gauze, soaked underwear, and started to soak through jeans. Turns out I am a bleeder, and you generally won’t know whether you are until it has been done to you. The cause of all of this blood loss (and contemporaneous howling)? The needle – a sharp, gleaming chunk of surgical steel whose sole life purpose is to part tissue once.
The needle was not what I expected (something more akin to a sewing needle) – nope, this monstrosity looks like a smooth ended nail. I saw it before the procedure and was somewhat interested in its size, but hadn’t given it much thought. Of course, now that it was coursing its way through my flesh with Pete’s firm hand pushing, it seemed rather much larger than before. The feeling was not what my friends told me: “a quick nip” or “a hard pinch”. The pain is rather sharp, and sudden with no build up – you reach maximum instantly and it remains constant. It probably lasts longer in the mind than it really takes but I felt the needle at nanoscopic levels slicing its way through tissue. I had a death grip on my MASTER, was straining every muscle in my body and screaming awfuckawfuckAwwFuckAWWWFUCK THAT HURTS!!! as Pete finished his job.
Finally the pain stopped, or more likely the endorphins kicked in and I was bathed in a numb glow. I couldn’t much feel my limbs or vocalize, but surely it is over. Not quite. Now comes the jewelry. I had decided on a 6 gauge ring, and had asked Pete if there was much difference between getting a 10, 8 or 6 guage piercing from the outset and was told no. I didn’t want to go through the discomfort of stretching, and getting new jewelry, so I opted for the 6 gauge. In an overall fantastic experience, the one thing that LeRoi did not get right was that that there *is* a difference – a smaller gauge piercing hurts less to get and the power of gravity automatically stretches the piercing out to a larger size over time. There is no discomfort or actual work involved in stretching the piercing to get to a larger size. I mention this because it took me four months to fully heal, which is considered a long time. Typically, healing is complete within 3 months or sooner whereas I was still rather tender. This may have been affected by my mild diabetic (unmedicated) condition which increases healing time. After all is said and done, I am very happy with my piercing and its beefier look, but the shorter healing time would have been worth knowing about and considering.
Pete is about to put the jewelry in which I somehow previously imagined would all take place at the same time. Sure enough, I am wrong and that hurts too though less so for the fact that I am shieleded by endorphins. Lastly, the sound like device was taken out and that caused a bit more discomfort. Pete left us alone, and what happens next doesn’t relate to the piercing, but was a special and private bit between MASTER and myself that I will cherish forever. Pete came and checked in after a few minutes, and saw that I was still bleeding, not entirely uncommon. I was wrapped up in gauze, and eventually given supplies and an aftercare information sheet. As I stood up and started dressing, I was surprised to find I had an erection…it was painful but really summed up the whole experience.
Some other notes: (1) Yes, jacking off is possible in the first week. No, it’s not advisable – the day after I did so, I felt a certain cold wetness down my thigh, and sure enough I was bleeding profusely. At work. In a good suit. That was getting stained. Past underwear and gauze. (2) No, pissing the first time did not hurt at all. (3) Underwear becomes much less comfortable after a PA – it rubs and pulls all the time and not in a good way. (4) Wearing a CB3000 with a PA is great but be aware that the slot for the PA isn’t necessarily even. I had one on and the PA was showing nicely through the slot when I was semi-hard, but as I softened the ball got caught in the slot. It’s not much fun fumbling past yer pants, trying to fix the problem whilst the PA tries to rip though yer cockhead.
Lastly, using a urinal is not impossible after getting a PA and I still do it on a normal basis. Yes, there can be leakage from the underside hole, but most of the time that isn’t what has caused the few “accidents” I have had. Typically, it’s the flow over the ball PA that causes issues and usually only when I’m not relieving myself at full speed. A urinal is also better than a toilet – there is more distance and chance for splatter with the latter. Yes, sitting down will completely resolve this concern, but it really is possible and more convenient to stand up. It takes a little bit of learning, but otherwise is not too much of a hassle.
Hopefully, this is an informative look at getting a PA and others will add their experiences and comments too!
